Activities
There will be a large children's activity area in Gravane which will be packed with activities! Here children and adolescents alike can try out canoeing, climbing, cooking on a bonfire, learning about sea awareness and learning the tricks of tying the different ship knots. They can even design their very own pirate costume! Sørlandet’s Norwegian Scout Association is responsible for the activity park and cooperate with Sjøvettutvalget and Redningsselskapet.

Sailing
Children too will also be able to go to sea! They will receive free travel on sailing expeditions with the Scouts fantastic boats. Cruises will offered both day and night with exciting adventures and surprises.

Face Painting
Children can get their faces painted like a real pirate, a lion or maybe even a monkey! Rosegårdens makeup group will be available everyday at Gravane from 12-16.

Visiting Ships
The Tall Ships Races will be visited by over 80 tall ships which will be open to the public. It is incredibly exciting to see these great sailing ships at close range. A poster has been created so that kids can use it to collect stamps from the different ships.
